Hometown: Newark (Southward), New Jersey

I grew up listening to: Slick Rick, Wutang, Biggie, Jay Z, Rick James & Prince. My moms had me at the age of 16 so I heard all the rap when I was coming up. But we all know when the mother is young like that the grandmother helps out alot and that's where the classics came in like Prince, Rick James, etc.

Most people don't know I: Played Division 1 basketball and denied offers to play b-ball overseas. Played high school b-ball with J.R. Smith of the New York Knicks.

My style's been compared to: Rick Ross. I guess its the strong voice and we both got bars and paint vivid portraits on wax.

My standout records and/or moments to date have been: Being featured on MTV "Bubbling under the radar" for a record titled "My Jealousy" that featured Camron, Slim Thug, Papoose and myself. ... Also my recent single "Turn Down For What" featuring Lil Durk is poppin' right now from the club to the streets... Being signed to Block Ent/Bad Boy South was cool too. Block had Jeezy and Rick Ross first so when he said he seen the same stardom in me I knew I had the glow [Laughs.] I ain't never meet Diddy though [Laughs.]

My goal in hip-hop is: My goal in hip-hop is longevity. I'm the next one that could make bangers and also give you substance. Hip-Hop is dying because we're limiting ourselves. It's like the trappers aren't suppose to have bars only swag and the backpackers are suppose to be more lyrical and not care about their appearance as much. Then you have the "weirdos". I'm like fuck all the gimmicks, nigga just rap, talk that shit and put on for Newark.

I'm gonna be the next: To run hip-hop. I feel like Hov and 'Ye gone have my CD on repeat when they get a hold of it. Gods understand Gods. It usually takes the average listener a little longer to understand but once they do they take heed.
