The VH1 Hip-Hop Honors: All Hail the Queens show will air tonight (July 11) at 9 p.m. live from New York City. Yesterday (July 10), Teyana Taylor announced that she was chosen to pay tribute to Lil Kim at the ceremony.

Taylor took to social media to show her excitement about the opportunity. She posted an Instagram video of her best Kim impression, in which she's dancing and lip syncing to Bad Boy's smash hit, "Mo Money Mo Problems." On Twitter, Taylor types, "JUST GOT THAT CALL!! I will be doing the Lil Kim tribute for #VH1Honors."

In a press release, VH1 states, "Since its inception in 2004, VH1 Hip Hop Honors has recognized the luminaries who broke new ground and propelled the genre into the cultural phenomenon it has become. From Hip Hop’s pioneers like Public Enemy and Tupac Shakur to Def Jam Records and Russell Simmons, VH1 has honored hip-hop from its origins through the numerous phases of its musical evolution."

This year, the event is all about the ladies. Lil Kim is among several female artists who will be honored at the event, which will focus specifically on the women of hip-hop who paved the way and set trends in a male-dominated genre. Queen Latifah, Missy Elliott, Salt-N-Pepa and others will also make appearances at the show.
