With more than 15 years at the forefront of rap, T.I. is considered a made man in hip-hop circles. Enduring everything from rap beefs to prison stints, the Grand Hustle mastermind has had an illustrious career. But to become legendary, certain milestones must be reached. T.I.'s latest comes in the form of his new album, Dime Trap.

His first studio release since 2014's PaperworkDime Trap proves to be more than worth the wait, as T.I. delivers an album that may go down as one of his most personal—if not one of his best. Although T.I. is more than capable of holding down an LP on his own merit, he calls in a few of his peers to join him, including Yo Gotti, Teyana Taylor, Jeezy, Meek Mill, Young Thug, YFN Lucci, Anderson .Paak, Victoria Monét, Watch the Duck, Sam Hook and London Jae. Dime Trap also features production from Swizz Beatz, Scott Storch, DJ Toomp, Dr. Dre and other elite boardsmen, making the album a high-powered affair.

“It’s just important to point out just all the incredible attention to detail that was paid on this project, from artwork to visuals to photo shoots to everything," T.I. told Zane Lowe of Dime Trap during a stop at Apple Music's Beats 1 Radio. "I just hope that everybody else can appreciate it the way that we do.”

With T.I.'s latest release fresh out, XXL delved into Dime Trap  to pick out 20 of the best lyrics on the album.
