With the first weekend of 2018 here, major sneaker brands are geared up to release their first set of sneaker goods this weekend. Leading the way these next two days with the best drops are Jordan Brand and Nike with some highly sought-after silhouettes.

Releasing between today (Jan. 5) and tomorrow (Jan. 6), XXL's sneaker picks this weekend include the much-anticipated Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite Cup, the Nike Air More Money in a popular colorway, a new version of the Nike Air Max 97, the latest version of Air Jordan 32 and the all-new red colorway of the Nike Kobe AD.

Stand out releases of this weekend come from Nike with tomorrow's drop of the Air Force 1 Foamposite Cup Light Carbon. Returning for the first time in many years, the silhouette will feature a purple and blue eggshell canvas. Inspired by Nike's basketball shoe, the Foamposite, the sneakers will be sold at select Nike retailers worldwide for a limited time only. Another release worth highlighting this weekend will be the Air More Money silhouette in an olive green colorway.
