Ski Mask The Slump God Drops 'Beware the Book of Eli' Mixtape

2018 has featured highs and lows for buzzing South Florida rapper Ski Mask The Slump God, but finally after months of talk and teases, we get his long-awaited (and leaked prior) new mixtape, Beware the Book of Eli, on Thursday (May 10).

Ski first announced the tape would be dropping back in December but failed to release the project on the projected date. He has, however, been steadily pumping out and teasing music in the past few months, some of which ended up on the project. BTBOE rolls in at 10 songs with cameos from Rich The Kid, SahBabii and more. Production-wise, Ronny J, Jimmy Duval and others handle beat duties.

The tape has taken form in previous months with the release of the songs "DoIHaveTheSause" and "Bukakke" featuring Rich The Kid. Noticeably missing are the tracks "SKIMeetsWorld," which samples the theme song of the 1990's sitcom Boy Meets World, and the Timbo-produced "With Vengeance" featuring Offset.

Ski actually leaked the project last week out of frustration with his management. Due to differences in their business relationship, the rapper says he is in the process of replacing his management team.

The new tape follows in the footsteps of his 2017 mixtape, You Will Regret, and will be career-altering according to Ski. "This year is going to be career-changing for me," he told XXL. "Each song from this upcoming tape is gonna change my career in many ways. I'm excited for it."
