Skepta is already an award-winning rapper but the English artist can now add the title of chief to his list of achievements.

According to a BBC News report, Skepta was given the title of "Amuludun of Odo Aje" on April 4 while in Nigeria for a concert. The title literally translates to "Chief Entertainer of Odo Aje." While Skepta was born in London, the rapper's parents hail from the town of Odo Aje, Nigeria.

"I am honoured and will continue to put time and love into Nigeria, especially the community of Odo Aje," Skepta wrote on Instagram.

During the ceremony, Skepta wore a traditional Agbada robe while surrounded by other chiefs from the community, as well as family and friends. "Thank you to the Baale, Chiefs of Odo Aje and King for presenting me with my Chieftaincy title today," he added on Instagram.

After receiving his title, Skepta got some love from model Naomi Campbell on Twitter, who congratulated the rapper. The two, who have appeared on the cover of British GQ together, are rumored to be dating. "Congratulations Chief Joseph Olaitan Adenuga!" the model tweeted.

Skepta and Campbell recently sat down to talk for a segment with British GQ. While the rapper didn't want to get in to politics, he did comment on racism and ignorance in society. "I think everybody deep down knows wrong or right so when people are being racist they know they're being ignorant," he said.
