Late last week, Safaree Samuels answered a fan's question as to whether or not he could be friends with ex Nicki Minaj by writing, "If she put her pride to the side yes." Samuels is starring in Season 3 of Love & Hip Hop Hollywood, which premiered on VH1 Monday night (Aug. 15), and during the after show, he elaborated on his comments.

"I’m just saying, there’s no hate in my heart. It’s all love," he said. "No matter what, too much has been done, too much has been built. At first it was what it was but now I’m over it. I’m happy, you are too."

As for Nicki's new man, Meek Mill, Safaree says he has no issue being amicable. "I mean, yeah," he says, "Hey Meek, how you doing? I don’t care."

Samuels has dramatically changed his tune as back in November he was reportedly planning to sue Minaj, alleging that he played a significant role in a majority of the music she’s released in her career. Then, he was seeking portions of the profit Minaj has made off of her three solo albums. Last July meanwhile, he suggested that Nicki wasn't entirely over him, despite her romance with Meek.

While Safaree wasn't featured in the first episode of Love & Hip Hop Season 3, he figures to be one of the season's main draws along with Ray J and Fetty Wap. The reality program airs on VH1 Monday's at 9 p.m. EST.
