In January, Run The Jewels were in Washington, D.C. for an energetic set at Echostage. While in the nation's capital, the hip-hop duo also visited the NPR office for a Tiny Desk concert.

Throughout the 11-minute clip (which can be viewed below), Killer Mike and El-P perform three songs from their latest project, Run the Jewels 3. The rhyme slingers drink E&J, use a banana as a mic and get the crowd hype to "Talk to Me," "Legend Has It," and "A Report to the Shareholders."

On "Talk to Me," El-P spits, "Brave men didn't die face down in the Vietnam muck so I could not style on you/I didn't walk uphill both ways to the booth and back to not wild on you/You think baby Jesus killed Hitler just so I'd whisper?/And you're safe and sound and these crooks tapped your phone to not have a file on you?"

RTJ coordinate their clothes for the mini-show, as both rappers wear all-black outfits with the exception of their respective baseball caps and accessories (Killer Mike opts for a grey Atlanta Braves hat and gold chain, while El-P rocks a purple New York Yankees fitted and sunglasses).

As mentioned earlier, you can check out the terrific performance below courtesy of NPR. In other RTJ-related news, Killer Mike and El-P protested President Donald Trump at the aforementioned Echostage concert in D.C.

“No matter who won, the day after tomorrow, this is our motherfucking country,” Killer Mike told the crowd. “I don’t give a fuck who is president. This is our country. And what we will build or keep this republic going on is truth, honesty, integrity, love and democracy.”

Looking forward, the group is slated to headline the Fortress Festival in Texas this April.
