Remy Ma certainly has stormed her way back on the scene nicely. Since being released from prison, she gave DJ Khaled's "They Don't Love Me No More" the remix treatment, while also giving a Dej Loaf a helping hand for her remix to "Try Me." In addition to her remix hopping, she also managed to drop her first project in years. She sat down with Sway in the Morning and discussed her BET Cypher with Papoose and also why he was the only feature on her new mixtape I'm Around.

"That was more so Pap's idea," when asked about their collaboration on the cypher.

"It came to be when we both found out we were gonna be in the same cypher. I didn't wanna kill him like that. And he didn't wanna get killed. So he said, 'You know what we should do?'" [Laughs]

She also spoke on her decision as to why she limited the features on her first project back.

"I just wanted it to be me. I feel like I've been gone for so long and that everyone else who I thought about putting on here, you hear them all day everyday since I've been gone," he says. "So I just wanted to give people me. Also, it's kind of hard for people to hate on it. If it's dope, and I got three people on the top ten charts all day, of course it's gonna work. And then, of course they're gonna say, 'Oh it's only winning because of X,Y,Z.' But it's just me."
