Rapper Diamond Involved in Car Accident

Last night (October 14) former Crime Mob rapper Diamond was involved in a serious car crash that could have turned deadly. The Atlanta solo artist took to twitter shortly after to reveal the details and let fans know she was ok.

“I just got into a car accident…Wow” she wrote around 8 p.m. EST on Thursday. “My car flipped over 3 times and I hit a tree. I'm thanking GOD I'm STILL ALIVE.”

Several famous friends quickly tweeted the rapstress to send over the well wishes. “God is GOOD you are Blessed,” Trina wrote. “Go get sum rest please.”

“Glad to hear everything is well. My blessings,” DJ Drama posted.  “Thank god my lil sis is ok,” Juicy J added.

Diamond apparently felt good enough to joining the Three 6 Mafia rep in the studio later that night, as he confirmed it on his Twitter account.

The ATLien is currently working on her debut solo album for Jive imprint, Battery Records. Her first single “Lotta Money” is currently in rotation on radio and TV and she recently made an appearance in one of the seven cyphers on the BET Hip-Hop Awards. The untitled disc, which doesn’t have a release date as of yet, will feature guest spots from Lloyd, Keri Hilson and Three 6 among others. —Elan Mancini
