To commemorate the 25th anniversary of Polo's groundbreaking snowboarding collection, Ralph Lauren will re-release the Polo Snow Beach Collection in limited quantities.

Set to release in the weeks to come, the 2018 Snow Beach collection will be compromised of both reissued and reimagined styles inspired by the original collection from 1993. Releasing in two delivery drops, Ralph Lauren will kick off the collection release with a color capsule drop, followed by a black and white launch.

The Polo Color capsule will feature 10 coveted garments including reissues of the most iconic pieces made to the exact specifications of the original models. Consisting of classic, stand out pieces referring to the 1993 collection like the red Snow Beach vest, the Cold Wave fitted cap and the Snow Beach bucket hat, Polo's new reissued items include color-blocked Snow Beach rugbys, a new Snow Beach poncho, a backpack, a waist pack and high-top sneakers.

The black and white capsule will be compromised of eight new styles that take cues from the original color collection. Key pieces include the double-knit tech rugby with woven signature patches, a water-resistant and insulated micro-rip stop nylon poncho, and a camp hat with lettering in high-density prints.

Polo’s Snow Beach collection was widely popular among the hip-hop community. Made iconic by Wu-Tang Clan rapper, Raekwon, after rocking the Snow Beach parka jacket on the Wu’s music video, “Can It Be So Simple,” the collection has remained one of the most sought-after capsules in Ralph Lauren’s archives.

Ralph Lauren’s Color Snow Beach Capsule will launch at select Polo retailers on Thurs., Jan. 25. The black and white capsule will release the following week on Thurs., Feb. 1.
