The Chef and Slim Shady may have something to add onto the menu shortly. Raekwon told XXLMag.com that he met Eminem at Switzerland’s Openair Festival over the weekend and they discussed the possibility of working together.

Rae said it was the first time he met the Detroit lyricist and the two really hit it off. “He’s a good dude,” Rae said of Em. “I respect him as bein’ one of the top elites in the game and I respect him as being a man, too."

The Wu-Tang MC shared that during their encounter they spoke on recording a song together. “We schemin’ and plottin’,” he said of the collaboration. “The last statement me and him left off on I was tellin’ him like, ‘Yo, you might need to make the beat’ and he gave me that look and we both walked away from each other like, ‘Word, you right, we might have to do that like that.’ So get ready man this is gonna happen soon.”

But first up for Rae is the release of C-N-N’s new album, The War Report 2: Report the War, on his Ice H20 imprint. The sequel to the group’s seminal 1997 debut is on shelves today. Along with Lex Diamonds, who appears on three tracks, the disc also features cameos from Busta Rhymes, Nas, The LOX and Faith Evans. —Jesse Gissen
