Post Malone Previews New Song “Psycho” Featuring Ty Dolla Sign
It might not have a release date, but it appears clear that Post Malone's Beerbongs & Bentleys album is coming soon. On Wednesday (Feb. 21), which is one day after he unveiled the dates for his forthcoming tour with 21 Savage and SOB x RBE, the Dallas, Texas crooner pulled up with a preview of "Pyscho," a new Ty Dolla $ign-assisted track coming out this Friday (Feb. 23).
In the song snippet, which goes on just for just a few hairs under 30 seconds, we hear bits of Posts typical boasting carried through his signature melodic stylings. "Damn I hate to go psycho/Lil mama bad like Michael, can't really trust nobody with all this jewelry on you/My roof look like a no-show/Got diamonds by the boatload," Post croons on the mellow track.
The artwork for the new cut features an image of what looks like a crazed wolf and a Bulldozer. If you pay close enough attention, you'll see the words, "Posty Co." scribed on one part of the demolition machine. Post used a tweet to shout out the folks responsible for the interesting bit of art
"psycho feat @tydollasign available friday cover art by @cavecanems @100BRBR @trvsbrthrs," he wrote Wednesday afternoon.
Fans have waited feverishly for Post's latest release for over a year now, and now it looks like it could be popping up soon. Speaking on the oft-delayed album last December, Post apologized to fans for making them wait so long.
"Hey guys, i know a lot of you guys were expecting a project today, it won't be dropping for a little while," he wrote in a tweet Dec. 1. "I'm sorry to let you down, but i need to make sure this album is perfect for you. I'm gonna keep working my ass off and make the best fucking album ever. i love ya."
