Another year, another insanely dope performance lineup for the Global Citizen Festival. On Tuesday (Aug. 1), the international advocacy organization unveiled the list of performers at the 2017 Global Citizen Festival, which features Pharrell and Big Sean among many others.

The free-ticketed event will take place at the Great Lawn in New York City's Central Park on Saturday, Sept. 23, and when it does, we can expect some lively performances. This year's show, like the ones preceding it, aims to shed light on the poverty and lack of education that afflicts the world abroad and hopes to end extreme poverty by 2030. Hugh Evans, who works as the CEO of Global Citizen, wants artists to use their influence for good.

"Over the last year, we've seen voters around the world reject the nationalism and isolationism that keeps people living in extreme poverty," he said in a statement. "Now, we are calling on activists and music fans to use their voice to change the world. We couldn't be more thrilled to be announcing this incredible lineup for Global Citizen. Now more than ever, we need to ensure we work together for the world’s poor."

It's a lofty goal, but it's one Pharrell, Big Sean and Global Citizen Fest headliners Stevie Wonder, Green Day, The Killers, The Lumineers and The Chainsmokers aim to help the group reach during this year's festival. Sean says he can't wait to perform.

"I look forward to joining these incredible artists and thousands of Global Citizens in Central Park as we shine a light on issues that need to be addressed, such as access to education, which is so important to helping everyone create a better life for themselves and their communities," the G.O.O.D. Music artist, whose album, I Decided, we named one the 25 best projects of 2017 so far.
