Kendrick Lamar has been shutting down concerts all year, and continued his run last night killing his set at the 2016 Global Citizen Festival at Central Park in New York City.

This year's show included performances from Usher, Rihanna, Demi Locato, Metallica and Major Lazer. More than 70,000 fans showed up to take in the vibes.

K. Dot's set included "Alright," "Backseat Freestyle," "Swimming Pools," "Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe" and a rendition of ScHoolboy Q's "THat Part." The Top Dawg rapper bodied his performance in front of the backdrop of a George Clinton quote that read, "Look both ways before you cross my mind."

One concertgoer noted "One of the best performance of the night was by Kendrick Lamar who nailed it to perfection. One of the best hip hop artist of this generation period."

Another commented, "Kendrick Lamar definitely the highlight of the whole show. Been waiting 3 years to see this dude and he was lived up to the hype."

The Global Citizen Festival started back in 2012. Taking place every year since then in New York City's Central Park, the concert is curated by Cold Play's Chris Martin. The goal of the fest is to end extreme poverty by the year 2030 in conjunction with United Nationals Sustainable Developmental Goals. People can get free tickets by partaking in charitable acts.

In past years, rap acts like The Roots and Jay Z have graced the stage. Beyonce performed at last year's event which also featured special appearances and speakers Stephen Colbert, Hugh Jackman, Leonardo DiCaprio, Vice President Joe Biden and First Lady Michelle Obama.
