Hot 97’s early morning radio show host, Peter Rosenberg celebrated his birthday in a way that many would expect from him: His very own hip-hop concert. With some of rap’s finest on the bill, fans from all demographics gathered up at the popular Best Buy Theater.

The sold-out show, aptly titled Peter Rosenberg Presents A Night of “Real Hip Hop, featured acts like Brooklyn’s Nitty Scott, Harlem’s Smoke DZA, and Morrisville, Pennsylvania’s Asher Roth. Special guest Raekwon of the legendary Wu-Tang Clan made an appearance, and shut the show down the venue, pulling out some classic records out of his arsenal.

Later in the show, in perfect Odd-Future style, the whole Golf Wang posse came on stage and gave fans what they wanted. Members Tyler, The Creator, Frank Ocean, Earl Sweatshirt, Hodgy Beats, and Taco all showed up and performed records from The OF Tape Vol. 2, Goblin, Bastard, such as "Bitch Suck Dick" and "Yonkers" amongst others.

From Action Bronson throwing weed to the crowd, fans mosh pitting, performers stage diving, and water slinging, the show was overall a spectacular hip-hop experience.

Peter Rosenberg’s birthday was quite special. Totally additional to the usual cake and ice cream most expect. —Camylle Dooley (@tribecalledCAM)
