Nike Unveils New Kyrie 3 Sneaker Inspired By Kobe Bryant and Bruce Lee

The latest iteration of the Nike Kyrie 3 silhouette will pay tribute to two iconic figures in pop culture. Honoring NBA legend Kobe Bryant and the late Hong-Kong American actor Bruce Lee, the Swoosh creates an eye-catching pair of sneakers for fall of 2017.

Dubbed as the Mamba Mentality pair, this Kyrie 3 sneaker is dressed in a bright yellow colorway. With hits of a black on the midsole, tongue and sock liner, the shoes also feature a gym red colorway on the Kyrie logo and the four red slash marks on the side panel of the shoes. Built with a Hyperfuse system, the Kyrie 3 Mamba Mentality canvas features a mesh and TPU material that helps enhance support and breathability for users.

To pay tribute to Bryant, Kyrie and the Swoosh add Kobe's Nike branded logo on the tongue of the right shoe. The tribute for Bruce Lee will be featured on the side panels of the shoes, as Nike includes four red slash marks to connect to the late actor.

The Nike Kyrie 3 Mamba Mentality sneakers will release on Fri., Sept. 15, at select Nike Basketball retailers and accounts. Look for Nike to announce a price point for the pair in the days to come.
