Nick Grant is looking to capitalize the momentum he has built since he delivered an impressive freestyle on Shade 45's Sway in the Morning. Hoping to take that next step, the Atlanta rapper has released his debut mixtape titled '88.

As an artist signed to Culture Republic, Nick Grant will have the chance to benefit from the watchful eye of Jason Geter. As one of the important figures behind T.I.'s illustrious career, Jason Geter wants to find similar success with a new talent like Nick Grant.

"I've witnessed his grassroots development and improvement since we met in 2010," Jason Geter said. "As a rapper, he's got verses, he knows how to choose beats and put songs together, but what I now see is someone that has the potential to grow beyond just the music."

The '88 mixtape.offers up 13 tracks that are meant to pay homage to the Golden Era of hip-hop. While this is a showcase for Nick Grant's talents, the MC also lines up some impressive guests to help him out along the way. Killer Mike, Big K.R.I.T, Young Dro, BJ The Chicago Kid and Stacy Barthe are among the contributors to Nick Grant's debut work. When someone is working with an industry stalwart like Jason Geter, it's no surprise so many talented artists are willing to work with them.

Is Nick Grant the next big thing to emerge from the hotbed that is Atlanta's rap scene? Take a listen for yourself and see.
