Gucci Mane is expanding his empire. La Flare announced today (June 13) that his label 1017 Eskimo Records has signed its first female rapper Asian Doll.

"Welcome @asiandadoll to #1017EskimoRecords," Guwop wrote in an Instagram caption. "Congrats Y’all get ready because we bout to go crazzyyyy!"

Asian Doll also shared her excitement for the new career move. "IM THE 1st EVER FEMALE ARTIST TO SIGN WITH @gucci1017 💕🏹 I’m Officially 🔟1️⃣7️⃣," she tweeted.

The 21-year-old Dallas native has kicked around the game for several years, most recently drawing attention for her standout guest verse on Bhad Bhabie's "Hi Bich (Remix)." On the strength of that feature, Asian Doll joined Babie's Banned in the USA Tour, which wraps up this week in Los Angeles.

Earlier this month, Doll sat down with XXL's The Break to discuss her goals. "Keep leading the youth. I feel like girls—especially from the hood, where I'm from—they have no voice. They have nobody," she said. "Sometimes when you get super famous, you forget what you started doing this shit for. I just wanna keep motivating the girls [to] keep being themselves. Especially for dark skin girls."

Asian Doll joins 1017 Eskimo Records as it continues to expand, aided by a distribution deal with Alamo Records and Interscope. Gucci's label added Hoodrich Juan Pablo and Lil Wop last August, and signed ZMoney in January.
