Dave East season is rapidly approaching. On Sunday (Aug. 6), the former XXL Freshman used his Instagram account to unveil the official cover for his debut Def Jam EP, Paranoia: A True Story. Check it out up top.

"OFFICIAL COVER PARANOIA AUG 18TH FREAKY FOREVER MUGGA WORLD 🔵 @defjamrecords," East wrote in the caption for the post, including the release date for the project.

East hasn't dropped a project since last year's Kairi Chanel mixtape, a 15-track offering filled to the brim with versatile flows and ferocious lyrics from the Harlem wordsmith. As we're sure his fans would agree, it's definitely about time he drops a new project.

Fans no doubt want to hear a new East project, but he's kept them on their toes over the last several months with plenty of fire freestyles. Back in April, the Def Jam artist took on Future's "Mask Off" in a freestyle. A couple of weeks ago, he tapped Chris Brown for "Perfect," and even more recently, he linked with the A$AP Mob's A$AP Ferg for his "East Coast (Remix)."

It's clear East is gearing up for a huge last portion of 2017, and we can't wait to see what else he's got to offer. Should be dope.
