A couple of months removed from taking home the trophy for Rap Recording of the Year at the 2017 Juno Awards for his Hotel Paranoia, Toronto's own Jazz Cartier is hard at work on Fleurever, an album set to be released later this year. There's only one thing that's sort of held him back, though: touring.

"New album's coming, but you know, my agents and shit got me out here touring damn near four times a year, going all crazy, so [I] don't have time to work," Jazz explained when he talked to us at the 2017 Rolling Loud Festival a few weeks back.

Jazz is one of Toronto's biggest rising stars, and he should only glow more brightly when Fleurever drops at some point this year. After all, he's got some heavy-hitters working on the project, revealing to XXL exclusively that he's got a Mike WiLL Made-It track headed our way in July. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

See what else Jazz has to say about touring, signing a major record deal and his progress with Fleurever in the video below. Miami's own Denzel Curry also stops through to say what's up.
