It's been a preposterously busy year for Young Thug and the rapper is likely releasing another project to make 2015 even more memorable.

The breakout star from Atlanta suffered through a police raid on his Georgia home, an arrest warrant for allegedly threatening a mall cop, a rash of unauthorized leaks, a custody battle, friction with his record label and, most bizarrely, he was implicated in a murder plot that allegedly targeted one of his biggest stated influences, Lil Wayne. Jimmy Winfrey, better known as PeeWee Roscoe, the rapper and sometimes tour manager for Thug, pleaded guilty to charges stemming from the plot, and was sentenced last months to 10 years in jail and 10 years' probation.

But he's also dropped three official mixtapes: Barter 6, and two installments of his Slime Season series, as well as a slew of features. And according to a video director closely associated with the rapper, he might not be done just yet.

As can be seen above, Be El Be responded to an inquiry about a potential third installment of Slime Season. The director of "Best Friend" and Rich Homie Quan's "Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh)" videos, among many others, said that the rapper will likely "drop it without warning," and that he has cover art prepared for whenever Thug is ready.

In a streaming session on the mobile platform Periscope, El indicated that the tape would drop "slightly after Christmas, closer to New Year's." (The streaming session has since been deleted.) In a marked departure from his Rich Gang days, Thug's 2015 circle has seemed to be remarkably tight, with most information regarding his music coming from Be El Be or the engineer Alex Tumay.
