Watch Gunplay Try and Wrestle an Alligator
Gunplay (Don Logan?) loves to go fishing. Back in 2012, the Florida native filmed a 10-minute short called Gon' Fishing that followed him on a bass fishing excursion with country music acting as the soundtrack. Yesterday, Gunplay used a new medium to capture his fishing habit and filmed a rare scene. While reeling in a bass, Gunplay's catch got eaten by an alligator that was plotting on the hooked fish as the rapper was bringing it in.
When Gunplay was returning from the dock he came across another alligator who was chillin' on the side of the highway. Gunplay hopped out of his whip and chased the huge animal down with intentions of wrestling the gator.
Gunplay, who said he was changing his name to Don Logan at the top of the year, has been relatively quiet since dropping his Gunplay mixtape in October of last year. The MMG rapper has dropped random freestyles along the way and songs with Rick Ross. His album, Living Legend, is still on the way and he gave an update to XXL on the project last summer.
“It’s going to be something for the world, not just for the hood," Gunplay says. "I’m already a hood nigga—I got hood tracks on there—but I want take it to that next level. I got an EDM track on there, I got some tracks on there for the girls. But for the most part I just experimented with it. Usually people stick to the script on their first album. I did whatever the fuck I felt. I’m not trying to sit there and over-rap your ears. I don’t really rap-rap-rap like that. I let you know experiences what I’ve been through, where I’m going and that’s it."
