Jay Z Celebrates Roc Nation Sports One-Year Mark With Times Square Billboard

Always one to stunt, Jay Z celebrated his successful venture into the sports world by throwing up a massive Roc Nation Sports billboard right in the middle of New York City's famed Times Square. Along with the billboard, Jay Z also had dinner and drinks later in the evening with New York Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia, Seattle Mariners second baseman Robinson Cano, New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz, and Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Hakeem Nicks at Tao Nightclub in Manhattan. Long time friend and collaborator Rihanna also joined the party.

Hov shook up the sports world a year ago when he announced that he was giving up his part ownership of the Brooklyn Nets to start his own sports representation agency and, to no one's surprise, Hov has been incredibly successful with Roc Nation Sports. Making a seamless transition from music to sports, the Brooklyn-native has assembled an All-Star lineup that includes Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant, New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith, and WNBA star Skylar Diggins. With the NFL and NBA Drafts coming up, expect more high-profile athletes to sign with the mammoth agency.
