Mos Def to Headline the Fort Greene Festival

Last year’s Fort Greene Festival featured Common, Q-Tip, and Soulive, with more than 15,000 partiers crowding Fort Greene Park. This year, Rosie Perez and Toure are set to host the 3rd annual festival on Saturday June 25 in Brooklyn, NY., and Bed-Stuy’s own Mos Def will be headlining the show with additional performances by Res, Game Rebellion, Sophia Urista and Lifted Crew.

The all day festival, which kicks off at 12:00 noon, and will also celebrate neighbored cuisine with tables from local restaurants like Madiba, Buka, and Brooklyn Moon. —Nicole LoPresti
