After putting the finishing touches on his new Astroworld album in Hawaii a couple weeks ago, it looks like Travis Scott is ready to unleash the new project on the masses this week.

Frequent collaborator Mike Dean broke the news on social media on Saturday (July 28), while fielding questions from fans. Replying to a person who asked, "Is Astroworld gonna change lives?" the Texas OG reportedly gave the date of Aug. 3, and noted "You're gonna shit your fucking pants." Dean also retweeted his answer and the date on his Twitter timeline.

It appears fans now have less than a full week to get prepared for La Flame's new release. This revelation comes on the heels of reports that Trav had traveled to Hawaii to finish the LP with Dean, Nav, Gunna, Don Toliver, Sheck Wes, Allen Ritter, Amir “Cash” Esmailian, Frank Dukes, Sonny Digital, WondaGurl and Wheezy all reportedly pitching in.

We've gotten a taste of the forthcoming project on the Kanye West and Lil Uzi Vert-assisted single, "Watch," which came out in May. A couple weeks back, producer Fki teased a sequel to the 2014 track "Drugs You Should Try It." It is unclear if the full-length version will be on Astroworld.

In other Travis-related news, the rapper was recently announced to be performing at the upcoming 2018 Rolling Loud Festival in the Bay Area.
