Lil Uzi Vert can't be stopped in 2016. The Philly rock rapper and 2016 XXL Freshman just dropped his music video for "You Was Right" today (Oct. 5) and it features one of ATL's hottest young producers, Metro Boomin.

In the Spike Jordan-directed video, Uzi and Metro partake in a demented tea party straight out of the classic children's tale Alice in Wonderland. Around the table sit a ton of pretty zombies—also referred to by Uzi as "fantasies on my phone"—who seem to be under some magical spell that leaves them lifeless. While Uzi falls down the rabbit hole and begs his real life bae, Brittany, to unlock the bathroom door, Metro taps out a beat on an MPC. For the visuals to be this wacky, we're sure the guys were sippin' something more than tea.

"You Was Right" was produced by Metro for Uzi's Lil Uzi Vert vs. The World tape earlier this year. The 9-track project, which also includes "Hi Roller" and "Money Longer," dropped back in April and shot the colored-haired rapper into the mainstream. "Money Longer" currently sits at No. 54 on the Hot 100 while "You Was Right" is at No. 85.

While Uzi's rap style has been criticized by hip-hop vets as not being true to the genre, Snoop Dogg recently gave a shout out to Uzi and all the other new school acts during his acceptance speech at the 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards. Uncle Snoop commended those who are blurring the lines and reinventing the genre just like he did back in the early '90s.
