Meek Mill is ready for his closeup. The Dreamchasers MC is starring in the new film 12 O'Clock Boys and on Saturday (Dec. 29), he shared a photo from the set of the upcoming movie.

In the photo, posted on Instagram, Meek is seen sitting atop a dirt bike in the middle of the street. He appears to be receiving directions from another man who is standing nearby.

"On set 🎬🎬🎬🎬," Meek captioned the pic.

News of Meek's role in the film surfaced back in October. The new film is an adaptation to Lotfy Nathan’s 2013 documentary of the same name. The plot revolves around a character named Mouse who longs to be part of a group of Baltimore dirt bike rider named The Midnight Clique. Meek Mill has landed the role of the Midnight Clique's leader in the film, which will be directed by Angel Manuel Soto.

The film will be an Overbrook and Sony Entertainment collaboration with Jada Pinkett Smith, Caleeb Pinkett, Marc Bienstock and Clarence Hammond serving as producers. The movie does not have a release date yet.

Meek had one of the biggest comebacks of 2018, which only ramped up in this last quarter. After appearing on the cover of the fall issue of XXL magazine, he recently dropped his well-received Championships album.
