Meek Mill Charged With Assault at St. Louis Airport
Meek Mill is in trouble with the law again. The Philadelphia rapper was reportedly charged with assault on Wednesday (March 15) after getting into an altercation with an employee at the St. Louis International Airport.
The Maybach Music Group artist was apparently angered by the airport employee's attempts to get a picture and some sort of fracas occurred, according to TMZ. Meek and two airport employees were charged with misdemeanor assault, and police gave Meek a court summons in lieu of arrest.
The charges could be a violation of Meek's probation. The "R.I.C.O." rapper violated his probation in 2015 and almost landed in jail because of it. Instead, Meek avoided any time in prison by serving six months on house arrest. He also had to remain on probation for the next six years.
Since Meek got off house arrest, he's stayed out of trouble, but his legal woes have not stopped him from getting into beefs, including one with The Game. A new chapter in their feud was opened a few weeks ago when the two traded barbs on social media. Game put an exclamation on the situation by writing a diss on Instagram.
“I’ll smack the fuck out this nigga for some Hennessy, tellin ya girl business to her mothafuckin enemy,” Game wrote. “These days niggas is worse than bitches, say they got 40 glocks n then end up gettin stitches, I’m 6’5 250 pounds, it take 50 niggas off 2pac chest to knock eem down, & when you in LA you be walkin on egg shells, but when I find you u gone catch my fade like you catch L’s.”
Unfortunately, Meek has more serious worries now that he's reportedly been charged with assault. XXL has reached out to Meek's reps for comment.
