The 2017 XXL Freshman class will be revealed this summer and now the Freshman hopefuls are here to show and prove why they deserve a spot in this year’s class. The 10th spot voting is happening now, so each of the potential Freshman are letting you know why they should appear on the 2017 XXL Freshman cover.

Marqus Clae is Master P's newest pupil and latest signee to No Limit Forever. The 17-year-old Houston MC raps like someone who's been in the game for decades, showcasing lyricism beyond his years. Clae released his debut album, The Ghetto Poet, in early 2017, and appears on Fox's newest TV series Shots Fired starring Sanaa Lathan. Master P has compared him to Kendrick Lamar and J.Cole and if you listen to The Ghetto Poet, young Clae has the potential to be a major name.

The 10th spot voting for 2017 XXL Freshman will run for one week. This is where the public gets the chance to vote an artist into the XXL Freshman Class. Go here to the 10th spot voting page to make your vote count for your favorite artist.
