Over the weekend, reports surfaced that two people were stabbed at RZA's New Jersey home. Police have arrested and charged 23-year-old Thomas Norman with aggravated assault and weapons counts. Norman's bail was set at $120,000. According to The Guardian and The New York Post, the stabbing occurred at a party hosted by RZA's adult children and the legendary MC/producer was performing in Texas during the incident.

Violence broke out at the home early Saturday morning and police arrived on the scene shortly after 1 A.M. Police discovered two men with stab wounds and took the victims to nearby Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey. Both victims are expected to recover.

The incident capped off a week of trouble for RZA. Reports revealed that both RZA and Raekwon were named in an investigation of two 1999 murders in their hometown of Staten Island, New York. The case linked both rappers to the murder of Staten Island drug dealer Jerome Estrella. The report stated that RZA put a hit out on Estrella after the drug dealer allegedly robbed RZA's brother. A separate case linked the Abbot and the Chef to the death of Corey Booker, another drug dealer who was killed just days after Estrella. The file alleged that a hit was placed on Booker after he robbed RZA's brother and Raekwon's cousin. Booker's murder remains unsolved. Neither Raekwon or RZA was ever charged.
