Ludacris Sued for $61K by Law Firm, Rep Reacts
The law firm Carlton Fields P.A., has filed suit against Ludacris for non-payment of legal fees for services rendered between March 2008 and April 2009, reports the Courthouse News Service.
The firm, which represented Ludacris and his Atlanta-based Ludacris Foundation in a 2007 negligence complaint, claims that the rapper owes them more than $60,000 in unpaid legal fees.
A representative for The Ludacris Foundation president Roberta Shields, Luda's mother, told XXLMag.com "We are talking with the law firm and I am sure we will get this resolved."
The firm wants Luda to pay the outstanding balance of $61,860.20 in addition to court costs. –Brooklyne Gipson
