2016 XXL Freshman Lil Yachty is ready to make his return to music. After taking a two-month break since the release of his Birthday Mix 3, today (Oct. 11), Lil Boat is back with a big announcement: his new album has an official release date and a cover to match.

Yachty revealed the cover art and release date for his forthcoming album, Nuthin' 2 Prove, which will be released on Oct. 19, on his Instagram account.

"0.19.18 “Nuthin’ 2 Prove” Goin KooKooooo! I Promise. CONMENT “ LETS GO BOAT “ IF U READY," he captioned his Instagram post.

More recently, the Grammy-nominated artist has been filming his role in How High 2. In this film, Lil Boat plays Roger, an entrepreneur and the younger brother to one of the protagonists. Roger and his friend embark on a journey to support their munchies delivery start-up. This isn't the first time that Yachty has entered the acting world. During the summer, he played the voice of the Green Lantern in Teen Titans Go! To the Movies.

In addition to the release of his forthcoming album, the King of the Youth will be going on The Disrespect Tour with Bhad Bhabie. The two collaborated on Bhabie's hit single, "Gucci Flip Flops," back in March of this year. The tour starts on Oct. 24 in Baltimore, Md., and is scheduled to hit New Orleans, Memphis, Cleveland, Pittsburgh and more.
