Lil Yachty’s Pitch for XXL Freshman 2016

XXL Freshman 2016 is coming and the freshman hopefuls are gearing up to possibly make this year’s class. With the 10th Spot voting happening now, we have to let the potentials tell us why they should appear on this year’s cover.

Up next is Atlanta native Lil Yachty. The red hair rhyme slinger is the current talk of the hip-hop industry. With a buzz worthy mixtape and his "Minnesota" song reaching new levels, Lil Yachty is the latest sensation from the A. After winning over the SXSW crowd with energetic sets and appearing as one of the lead models in Kanye West's YEEZY Season 3 fashion show, Lil Boat is here to stay for the long run. The XXL Freshman 10th Spot will run for one week. This is where the public gets the chance to vote an artist into the XXL Freshman Class.
