There may be more to delays with the release of Lil Uzi Vert's new project than the album not being complete. According to the Philly rapper, someone other than him is responsible for the push backs.

LUV recently hopped on Twitter to quickly vent about the situation. "Can I honestly tell y'all why this album ain't drop," he started. "It's because of a Old Person who doesn't Understand what's going on right now......Can You Guess Who?"

It didn't take long before Twitter followers started to guess the "old person" he was referring to is DJ Drama, whom LUV is signed to via the label Generation Now. The "You Was Right" rapper has since deleted the tweets. Then again, the assumptions about Dram could be wrong.

Vert's forthcoming album Luv Is Rage 2, has been being teased for a while now, but still remains without a release date. The rapper continues to put out new music in the mean time.

Uzi inked a deal with Drama and Don Canon's label in 2015. Last year, it was rumored that he was joining Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Gang. But those reports were shot down by Drama who later tweeted, “Due to any confusion or contrary belief, Lil Uzi Vert is only ‘Signed’ to Generation Now, LLC!.” Cannon affirmed Drama's sentiments about the situation tweeting, “Respectfully, we have alotta of love for Taylor Gang and Wiz, but Lil Uzi Vert is signed to Generation Now. Here is your answer.”
