Lil Uzi Vert Confronts Hacker Who Leaked His Music

Lil Uzi Vert isn't here to let hacking and thievery slide and recently caught up with a potentially malicious snoop and put the young'n on blast. Captured by PMWHiphop.com, the above video shows an Instagram post that Uzi has since taken down in which the rapper confronts and insults a man he claims hacked his phone and leaked his music.

The caption, which is likewise included above, reads, "Everybody this is a lil Nerd hiding hacker I found him cause he sold a leak song to somebody IN MY CITY He said 'I hacked your Instagram cause you ain’t answer me when I tried to contact you' some Super Fan shit. I Mean Thank you But No Thanks Went threw his phone. Had my shit and a lot of other RAPPERS info. DIS SHIT WAS CRAZY Oh Yea He Ratted On The Rest Of Y’all IM COMING FOR YA !!! Oh yeah and he be letting these Lame ass Nobody’s Have Y’all Verses."

Hackers and trolls are a built-in part of the new digital game, but as Uzi demonstrates, rappers on the come-up don't need to tolerate attacks on their livelihood and profession. Last week, Uzi dropped his Lii Uzi Vert vs The World project with production from Metro Boomin, Don Cannon and more.

In a 2015 interview with XXL, Uzi said, "I just want to be successful. I’m not going to sit here and be like I want to win a Grammy or whatever; if that comes, that’s awesome. But I just want to be successful and provide for my whole family and get my family out the hood." And let the above video be a testament of what happens when a hacker gets in the way of that end.
