Lil Uzi Vert Confirms ‘Eternal Atake’ Album Is Finished
Lil Uzi Vert hasn't released a project in 2018 and the natives are getting restless. Having teased his forthcoming Eternal Atake album over the summer, the former XXL Freshman recently revealed the album is finally complete.
On Saturday night (Dec. 8), Uzi headlined a show in his hometown of Philadelphia. Dubbed Lil Uzi Vert + Friends, the showcase had scheduled performances from A$AP Ferg, Young Thug, Nav, Q Da Fool, Blueface, YNW Melly, Lil TJay, Lil Yachty, Pi'erre Bourne and Lil Durk.
During Uzi's set, he took a break to address the crowd and give an update on his album, which they have patiently been waiting on. "I know y'all wonder when I'm gonna drop my album," he admitted to those in attendance before a suspenseful pause. "I'm finally done with that joint, I'ma drop that joint."
Without giving anymore details, he rolled into a new cut off the upcoming LP.
Uzi has been teasing Eternal Atake since July when he tweeted, "Eternal Atake...Eternal means forever. Atake means 2 overtake."
Since then, he's released the controversial artwork, which plays on the logo of the Heaven's Gate cult, and released the single "New Patek," which has since reached gold status. Last week, Uzi offered another update on the project by notifying fans it would be coming soon.
