As the U Name It Challenge sweeps the Internet, hip-hop acts are joining in on the holiday fun. The latest rapper to try his hand at the challenge is West Coast mainstay and Dogg Pound member Kurupt... kind of. One dedicated Kurupt fan pieced together some of the West Coast rapper's lines from the 2006 Dogg Pound track "Cali Iz Active" and video to the U Name It Challenge beat.

Kurupt's lines "We got heaters, smoke, drank, bitches/Fo's, deuces, trayz, switches/Riders, money, houses, boats" fit perfectly to the beat before "I got beans, greens, potatoes, tomatoes, lamb, Yams, rolls, hog."

For those just now catching on, the Thanksgiving-themed U Name It Challenge was started last week and can be traced back to the Instagram user remixgodsuede. Suede found a video of gospel singer Shirley Caesar in church naming all the items she plans on cooking for Thanksgiving and noticing she was actually rhyming, added a boomin' hip-hop beat. The viral video has been all over Twitter and Instagram this week.

But Kurupt isn't the first hip-hop act to be sucked into the challenge. Over the weekend, Chris Brown posted a video of himself doing some sick freestyle choreo to the beat. With the rapid fire of the Internet, could the U Name It Challenge actually replace the Mannequin Challenge by Thanksgiving time?
