Kanye West once invited James Blakee to the studio to hear music that now lives on Watch the Throne. Since that time, Kanye as asked Blake to collaborate on new music.

"I have been in contact with him," Blake tells Rolling Stone, adding one main concern. "You know, the way that I like to work is bare bones and personal. I think because Kanye's such an accomplished producer, if I was to work with him, then I think we could do something together, and just together, you know?"

He sums up his predicament by quoting Oscar Wilde. "Diversity of opinion about a work of art shows that the work is new, complex, and vital."

Blake isn't new to the rap game. He makes his affinity with K. Dot official by remixing the rapper's hard-knocking “m.A.A.d. City” track, turning the song into something wavy and dubbed-out. Blake played it during a recent set on BBC Radio 1, explaining to the audience that he’d place the two-minute remix together on a plane.

Whether it's a remix that we asked for or not, it's here. Spin the tune below. Let us know your thoughts after the jump.
