On Friday (April 27), SZA dropped her latest video for the Kendrick Lamar-assisted "Doves in the Wind."

Inspired by vintage kung fu films, the video begins with SZA riding horseback through the desert as Kung Fu Kenny, aka Kendrick Lamar, watches from a mountaintop. The Ctrl singer is ambushed by ninjas but fights her way to K. Dot, who shoots projectiles at SZA as she runs up the mountain.

When she finally makes it to the top, the singer discovers Kendrick is now sitting cross-legged in the air while drinking tea. "You want to fight?" a voice-over asks the singer. The rapper then challenges SZA to a battle, where the protégé becomes the master after she defeats K. Dot.

Up next for the Top Dawg Entertainment artists, the two will be hitting the road with their other labelmates for the TDE Championship Tour. The 29-date trek kicks off on May 4 in Vancouver, British Columbia before the artists make stops in Seattle, Oakland, Los Angeles, Houston, Atlanta, New York City, Philadelphia and more. The tour wraps up on June 16 in Pittsburgh.

In related Kendrick Lamar news, the California artist recently became the first rapper to ever win a Pulitzer Prize for music. Kendrick's Damn. album became the first non-classical or jazz work to earn the award after the Pulitzer board called the project "a work that captures the complexity of African-American life."
