Keak Da Sneak and E-40 Head to the East Bay in “Keep It Goin” Video
Two West Coast legends link up in the new video for "Keep It Goin." Teaming up with E-40, Keak Da Sneak showcase's the East Bay's sideshow culture.
A neighborhood gathering often held in vacant lots or street intersections, the sideshows featured in the "Keep It Goin" video feature a ton of drivers hitting donuts and stunts in their cars. Ariel shots filmed by a drone offer panoramic vistas of The Bay Bridge and Oakland as classic cars spin around in parking lots. NFL superstar Marshawn Lynch also makes an appearance in the video.
Along with the "Keep It Goin" video, Keak Da Sneak also drops off visuals for "Dawlas." The track, which features Keak spitting with a one-word-at-a-time flow gets a hypnotic video as the rapper counts his cash.
"Keep It Goin" and "Dawlas" are featured on Keak Da Sneak's latest album, Withdrawl. Produced entirely The Mekanix, the album is Keak's first project since 2013 and also his first since recovering from gunshot incidents in 2017.
The 17-track project features guest appearances from Mozzy, E-40, Rayven Justice, Sonni Luley, Lover Boii, J. Stalin, Kool John, Dru Down and G-Stack. Speaking about the album, the rapper said, "I haven’t dropped an album since 2013. The streets gotta be sick without Keak da Sneak. My music is my dope. People were saying, 'Give us some of that dope. Lemme get some of that Keak, please!'"
