Kap G may need a home remodel. His new Ty Dolla $ign-assisted song "Raise the Roof," released Thursday (Aug. 2), tells the story of cash stacked so high it strains their ceiling's structural integrity.

Over a bass-heavy beat, the Georgia rapper opens his verse with an inspired 11-bar spurt referencing seafood restaurants, leprechauns and the Spanish language that holds tight rhyme scheme.

"Stackin' that money, got a hunnid shows/Stackin' that money when I'm on the road/Hundred rack, yeah I need a hunnid more/Lately I've been livin' wonderful/We ain't talkin' money then you gotta go/I just came up on a pot of gold/Met the lil bitch at a Pappadeaux/Tell her gimme top then you gotta go/Told her don't stop, make it rápido/Money on the way, yeah I gotta go/When I'm in LA got a lotta shows," he raps.

Ty contributes a hypnotic hook that announces the pair's intention to make so much paper money it can't fit inside their place of residence. It's his first collaboration with Kap G since their Quavo-featuring remix of "Girlfriend" dropped in October 2016.

The song follows "Want My M's," "Marvelous Day" featuring Lil Uzi Vert and Gunna, and "Pum Pum" featuring Messiah and Play-N-Skillz as Kap's fourth music video of 2018. He told XXL in July that he's currently working on a follow-up to his February mixtape Real Migo Shit 4.
