Kanye West is diving into a new venture as he is being reported as the executive producer for the new soundtrack for the upcoming WGN America series Underground. According to reports from Deadline and a casting call for the television show posted online, Underground "follows a group of slaves who plan a daring escape from a Georgia plantation to cross 600 miles to freedom, aided along the way by a secret abolitionist couple running a station on the Underground Railroad, as they evade those tasked with bringing them back, dead or alive." The show will feature Christopher Meloni, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Aldis Hodge and Jessica De Gouw. The series is on pace for a 2016 premiere.

Though he hasn't released a new song this week, Kanye's music has been abuzz this week thanks to leaks of songs that may or may not see the light of the day. Yesterday, a quick snippet of Kendrick Lamar rapping on the supposed "All Day" remix leaked and later in the afternoon, audio of Vic Mensa slipping the West-featured "U Mad" into a DJ set. Multiple videos of the song were blocked from YouTube have been deleted but someone ripped the audio and posted on the popular Kanye fan site KanyeToThe and SoundCloud. Despite the low-quality song, it sounds like Vic and 'Ye have a banger on their hands. Check out the clip below.
