Juelz Santana and Jadakiss Want to Throw a Benefit Concert for Chinx’s Family

The tragic murder of Chinx will hopefully unite New York MCs for a night as Juelz Santana and Jadakiss are calling for rappers to get together to throw a benefit concert for the late rapper's family. Juelz posted the idea on Instagram and Kiss reposted with a simple caption of, "No doubt." The hip-hop community has been shaken by the murder and if this concert were to go down, it would not only be a great way to help Chinx's family but also to show unity during a troubling time. Hopefully there will be enough support and want for the party to happen.

Chinx's funeral was held today (May 26) in Jamaica, New York. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, people donate money to help support the family left behind. Here is the message from the family:

As you can imagine, in today’s challenging economic climate, losing your primary source of income can be devastating. When that loss is due to the unexpected death, it leaves a void that can never truly be filled.

Instead of sending flowers, please consider helping the family fill part of the financial void. Your donations will help provide much needed financial stability to a family who deserves so much more than what they have been dealt. We cannot replace the warmth, charisma, wit, charm, and love that Chinx gave to not only his family, and friends, but also, his fans. We can however, help keep them focused on what really matters, and that is each other.
