The hip-hop community has been mourning the death of Chinx. Revolt got Max B on the phone—he's currently incarcerated in a N.J. state prison in Trenton—to discuss the fatal shooting of the 31-year-old MC. He offered his condolences and shared his thoughts on Chinx's murder, calling the act "senseless." Max seemed extremely saddened by the loss of his dear friend. He also expresses his dismay with the Black community, saying we have to do better.

"We the people, we ain't learning nothing," said Max. "These young n---as out here, they ain't learning nothing. No father figures, they're shooting first. We dying for nothing, we killing each other dog and shit gotta stop. We gotta do better, we gotta do better than that."

After having lost Stack Bundles to murder back in 2007, Max B says he understands how French Montana and the rest of the Coke Boys family are feeling. He reminisces about the days Chinx spent at his house and goes on to say he wishes they had the opportunity to work with one another. He then goes on to express his love and condolences to Chinx's entire family, before reiterating his point about the need to do better as a people. "We lost another young, aspiring brother who's trying to do the right thing," he said.

Chinx and Max B linked up in 2008 after the Far Rockaway native was released from prison. MB was the artist to link Chinx with French Montana.
