Joyner Lucas and Tierra Whack could be primed for some big Ws. Today (Dec. 7), the two were announced as nominees for the Best Music Video category the 2019 Grammy Awards.

Joyner’s “I’m Not Racist” and Tierra’s “Mumbo Jumbo” visuals are up against videos by The Carters (“Apeshit”), Childish Gambino ("This Is America”) and Janelle Monáe (“PYNK”) in the same category.

Since being released, Joyner’s polarizing “I’m Not Racist” video has racked up over 104 million views on YouTube. It's also been praised for tackling the issue of race relations in America. Joyner also received a Best Rap Song nomination with Eminem for their collaborative track “Lucky You.”

Meanwhile, Tierra’s wildly imaginative video for “Mumbo Jumbo” has gotten over 468,000 views on YouTube since its release in October 2017. Directed by Marco Prestini, the bizarre visual features the North Philly rapper enduring a horrific trip at the dentist's office.

Both videos could be considered underdogs going in to the 2019 Grammys Awards, which will take place in Los Angeles on Feb. 10, 2019. Gambino’s polarizing “This Is America” video is a major favorite to win the trophy, but Joyner and Whack could possibly pull an upset win at the event.
