Former champ Ken Jennings took the reigns in the new category racking up on his knowledge of hip-hop trivia. Jennings was unabashed about knowing the title to Notorious B.I.G.’s 1997 song “Mo Money, Mo Problems” and MC Hammer's "Can't Touch This." He even managed to know the title Digital Underground’s big hit “The Humpty Dance.” But he didn’t far so well when his knowledge of Cypress Hill’s classic “Insane In The Membrane” and the Beastie Boys’ “Sabotage.”

This is not the first time rap has made it on to the show. In January Alex Trebek showcased another Jeopardy! category called “It’s a Rap,” that featured Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five’s “The Message,” Biggie’s “Juicy,” Beastie Boys’ “No Sleep ‘Til Brooklyn,” Dr. Dre’s "Nuthin' But A G Thang" and Public Enemy “Timebomb.”
