Freeway, Beanie Sigel, Rihanna, Kanye West, J. Cole, Harry Styles? Jay Z reportedly wants to turn the  One Direction singer into the next superstar solo act. Hov believes that he has the right connections and experience to help his transition from a member of a quartet to a world famous standalone act.

"Harry doesn't need any help with exposure, everybody in the world knows who he is," Jay told the Daily Star. "But he does need to make the transition from being part of a group to becoming an individual artist. I can get him working with the bigger artists, the biggest producers--and have him as the biggest artist in the world within a year."

One Direction is currently on a one-year hiatus and Styles has reportedly registered four solo songs with ASCAP meaning that a project is likely imminent. Longtime music executive Simon Cowell helped establish One Direction and has been involved with the 21-year-old singer's career since the beginning. The Roc Nation founder is hoping for a joint managing venture with the X Factor judge.

"I would love to sign Harry," said the rapper. "Simon is going to want to carry on working with him, of course. But we could do a joint venture--we both have big qualities we can bring to the table. And Harry can make more than enough money for everybody to get a piece of the pie."
