In late August, street peddler Joel McDonald, also known as Joel Mac, filed a lawsuit for copyright infringement against Jay Z, Kanye West and Frank Ocean. Mac claimed the hit-making trio stole the concept for their Watch The Throne single "Made In America" from his 2009 song with the same name. According to a recent TMZ report, Mac has now decided to take things one step further by filing a federal lawsuit against the musicians.

Mac claims he was outside the Mercer Hotel in SoHo during the same time Jay, Yeezy and Frank were recording Watch The Throne. Mac says Mike Dean bought one of his CD's in front of the hotel. As time passed and the album got released, Mac realized his song was number 11 on the album. TMZ sources say both songs share a lot of similarities.

Joel Mac expects Jay Z, Kanye West, and Frank Ocean to pay him a portion of the profits earned for the material.
