Ever since Beyonce dropped her album Lemonade, the world has wondered and speculated whether Jay Z actually cheated on her and when, if at all, he was going to offer his side of the story. Earlier this month, Us Weekly reported that Hov was crafting his response album, while the very next day, word was that the famous couple might put out a joint album.

Now, according to the New York Post's Page Six, that joint album is very much happening, with sources telling the publication that the two have completed the project which will be released through Tidal very soon. “Jay and Beyonce were never going to do an interview to address all the questions that came up after ‘Lemonade.’ It’s more their style to respond through music,” a source said.

The timing of this report is curious, as Beyonce has been on the road with DJ Khaled on her Formation tour since late April, while Jay was just at the Barclays Center this past weekend as part of Puff Daddy's Bad Boy reunion show. If the couple are indeed planning to drop a joint project, it will no doubt send the music world into a tizzy with two Beyonce albums within such a short span of time being a remarkable turn of events in and of itself.

Either way, these reports continue to add revolutions to the Beyonce and Jay Z news cycle which is likely to the benefit of both artists, whether there's a joint album or not. The two last collaborated for Beyonce's "Drunk in Love" and Jay's "Part II (On the Run)" which were released in 2013 and 2014, respectively.
